At a time when survivors of detention centers and their families need support to rebuild their lives, we are launching the 'A Smile of Freedom' campaign to provide free dental and jaw treatment services. Led by a team of volunteer dentists, we seek to help children, women, and former detainees regain their health and smile in the targeted cities and regions. We also provide essential materials, medicines, and necessary transportation to ensure they receive complete care.

This campaign is more than just dental treatment; it is a step toward rebuilding a dignified life for these heroes who endured pain and torture. Additionally, we aspire to expand the scope of our services within this campaign soon. Your donation today can restore hope to those most in need, and be a step toward a better life for them and their families. Your donations will be allocated to securing the necessary medical supplies for surgery and dental treatment, in addition to any medications the patient may require. The campaign will provide transportation for cases that necessitate it, and cases will be evaluated individually by the campaign management.

"A Smile of Freedom" is a humanitarian initiative that provides free medical care for dental treatment and jaw surgery to survivors of detention centers and their families. The campaign was launched under the leadership of a team of volunteer doctors and currently focuses on the targeted regions, with plans to expand in the future to include additional areas.

Campaign Objectives:

• Provide free dental treatment and jaw surgery services to former detainees and their families under specialized medical supervision.
• Provide medical supplies, medicines, and transportation to ensure beneficiaries receive the necessary care.
• Support survivors in restoring their health and dignity by improving their quality of life and restoring their smile.
• Enhance the capabilities of volunteer doctors through training and competency development.

Services Provided:

The campaign was launched in January 2025 and will run for 6 months. Work began in one of the targeted cities, and patients from that city and its countryside are being referred, while we have not yet started in the rest of the regions. The first phase included:

• Dental Treatments: (fillings, root canal treatment, tooth extraction).
• Dental Restorations: (implants, crowns, bridges, removable and fixed prosthetics).
• Maxillofacial Surgery: (treatment of jaw fractures, major and minor surgeries).
• Cosmetic and Orthodontic Treatments: (teeth whitening, gum treatment, orthodontics).

🔹 Future Services: We plan to expand the campaign to include additional medical specialties such as ophthalmology, dermatology, general surgery, pediatrics, cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, and oncology.

Implementation Mechanism:

• Electronic Patient Registration: To ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and verify beneficiary data.
• Receiving Volunteer Applications from Doctors, Pharmacists, and Lab Technicians: Qualifications and experience are verified through several stages, including a reference check phase.
• Initial Medical Examinations: To ensure patients are free of infectious diseases and conduct necessary tests.
• Determining the Treatment Plan: By volunteer doctors under the supervision of consultants.
• Close Follow-up After Treatment: To ensure the success of the treatment and the satisfaction of the beneficiaries.
